Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to me. La Brayonne has fundamental principles that I follow:

  • I don’t ask you for personal information unless I truly need it. (e.g. If you use my contact form to communicate with me, I ask for a name and email address so I can respond to your questions and comments).
  • I don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law or protect my rights.
  • I don’t store personal information on my servers unless required for the on-going operation of my site. An example would be using the list of ip addresses visiting La Brayonne in order to control the traffic if some of this traffic was harmful and bringing the site to a crawl.

Hangar404 operates several websites including labrayonne.com,  floor404.com, theloneobserver.com, gestion2d.com.  It is Hangar404’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating these web sites.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Hangar404 collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Hangar404’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better manage the servers on which the websites such as labrayonne.com are residing. From time to time, Hangar404 may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of it’s website (such an example would be a report giving the number of visits during a month).

Hangar404 also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on blogs. Hangar404 only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to La Brayonne choose to interact with La Brayonne in ways that require Hangar404 to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Hangar404 gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, La Brayonne asks visitors who comment on the blog to provide a name and email address. In each case, Hangar404 collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with La Brayonne. Hangar404 does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Aggregated Statistics

Hangar404 may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to La Brayonne. For instance, Hangar404 may monitor the most popular pages or use spam screened by the Akismet service to help identify spam. Hangar404 may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Hangar404 does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Hangar404 discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its service providers and partners that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Hangar404’s behalf or to provide services to Hangar404 operated websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those service providers and partners may be located outside of your home country; by using web sites operated by Hangar404, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Hangar404 will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its service providers and partners, as described above, Hangar404 discloses non-potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Hangar404 believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Hangar404, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of a website operated by Hangar404 and have supplied your email address, La Brayonne may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with La Brayonne. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Hangar404 takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially non-personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
