Mother Nature was all over the place this week! We went from freezing, to Spring weather (all the snow melted in our front yard), to the first snow storm of 2018… in less than 3 days! Since it was snowing like crazy Yesterday, we went grocery shopping Today and oh my it’s was chili outside. Prep Day #30 – Vietnamese Soup
The Holiday Season is over, and it was great to get to spend time with Family. It was also nice to be able to spend time with my Mom in the kitchen. That is what the Holidays are all about – Food & Family!
Prep Day #29 – Parmesan Chicken Lasagna
How to feed several people and get a ”WOW” effect with not too much work? Combine 2 dishes that marries well together. We all know that Chicken Parmesan goes great with spaghetti… what if we add the crusted chicken to lasagna?

It started with Charlemagne, my first cat… I was 5 or 6. Cute little black cat, that smelled awful! After a good bath, it became a gray cat and oh boy was it hungry. Oh how happy was I! Charlemagne and I did everything together, he was my play buddy; to a point that when my Mom told me to put my toys away, I literally put him away in my toy box –Not to worry, my Mom went to get him out when she noticed that he was not following me down the stairs (no more than 5 -1 0 minutes). For more than 12 years, we were inseparable. Until came the day when we had to put him down.
