Prep Day #35 – Asian Steak Roll

Making a tasty meal should not cause you to break the bank!  The important thing is what can be found in your pantry… and your fridge.  My family loves steak.  However, steaks can get expensive depending on the type of cut you purchase.  Let’s be honest, I will not spend a huge load of money on steak this time year.  Why? Simple, I’ll have to cook it inside (our trusted Weber is still away because of the snow) and it’s just not the same!  I can make though a very tasty minute steak that will also look amazing plated!

Prep Day #33 – Raclette… it’s not that complicated!

What says ”Fun filled Evening”? RACLETTE!  There is nothing more fun than to be with people you love around a table and get to cook your meal right there… while enjoying good wine and conversation!  Raclette is complicated you might say… all that veggie cutting in very thin pieces, the meat prepping, the getting the right cheese and let’s not forget all of the dishes.  Believe me, once you will have read this, you will find Raclette to be quite easy!

Prep Day #32 – Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

We are halfway through January and for a lot of us, the resolution was to either eat right or lose weight.  It’s difficult to maintain this resolution with the cravings for carbs and sugar.  We all love sugary treats!  How is it possible to  satisfy a sweet tooth without having a huge amount of refined sugar?  By using naturally sweet ingredients!
