Oh how I love chicken pot pie. However, it is not on the top of the list of the things I like to make. Why? Well, it’s simple… it takes a lot of time to make! Oh but the results are so wonderful!
Prep Day #18 – Seafood Fettuccine
Nothing says left overs best than pasta. In my last Prep Day, I shared macaroni, Chinese style. This time, we’ll pair our pasta with some tasty seafood. This is one of my Husband’s favorite dish. Nothing says I love you more than seafood in a white wine garlic Parmesan sauce.
Prep Day #17 – Macaroni… Chinese style!
Macaroni is good in several ways… cheesy, meaty, as a salad, name it! We love ours with tomato meat sauce (sprinkled with a little fresh Parmesan). The second best is Chinese style!

Salads… tasty and refreshing during the hot Summer days. However, salads should not only be made from lettuce. Some of the best salads I have made were when I needed to clean out my vegetable drawer. Any fridge left overs can become the star of a dish, all depending what you can pair it with in your pantry. This is exactly what I did today…
Prep Day #15 – School’s out for Summer!
The final school day bell has rung. The kids are happy that Summer is finally here. For our kids at home, schools out means no more homework, no need to wake up early in the morning, no more school uniforms and no need to pack school lunches… life is great during Summer!
Prep Day #14 – Loaded Baked Potatoes
Nothing is more versatile than a potato. You can have it baked, mashed, roasted, scalloped and lets not forget french fries. They can even be eaten in salad form. Let’s face it, potatoes do make a great side dish to any meal. How about we turn the potato into the main dish of our meal?
