Meatloaf, a childhood favorite. Growing up, I knew supper would be great when I would get home from school and smell my Mom’s meatloaf cooking in the oven. The best part of it was the tomato soup she would spread on top of it before putting it in the oven. Served with mashed potatoes and veggies, I remember how wonderful it tasted! Over the year, I have tried different meatloaf recipes. Some with rice, others with crumbled dry bread, with canned tomato soup and some with BBQ sauce. When it comes to meatloaf, the possibilities are endless. Now, it depends on the flavor I want to achieve but I always keep the same basics to get the perfect meatloaf!
Gardening! No time? No problem…
If you are like us, you enjoy fresh vegetables. For the longest time, we wanted to plant our own garden. However, planting a garden requires that you prepare the earth, get the seeds, get them going early in the year and then transplant. From there you have to insure that weeds will not take over the whole garden area, which mean you have to have time to go through it. I want a garden, but do I have time for all this?
