Homemade Iced Tea

Hot Summer Days call for Homemade Ice Tea!!

  • 6 tea bags
  • 6 cups of water
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • 1/2 cup of lemon juice
  • 1 cup of Sugar (I usually replace with honey)

Bring your water to a boil. When water is bowling, remove from heat and put your pinch of baking soda. Throw in your tea bags and let sit for 20 minutes. When time is up, remove tea bags and transfer tea mixture into juice pot. Add your sugar and stir well. Once sugar has dissolved, add your lemon juice and mix well. Add ice and let rest in fridge for about an hour.
Serve over ice with lemon slices
Enjoy!
